  • Q. Do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?

    A. In order to give you the full attention of our experienced consultants, we recommend booking an appointment.

  • Q. How long is my appointment?

    A. For Bridal gown appointments usually are 1 hour.

  • Q. What should I bring to my appointment?

    A. Bring pictures of dresses you've seen on our website, in magazines or that you've tried on elsewhere. And bring an open mind: don't be surprised if you find "the dress" on your first visit. We have plenty of Accessories and undergarments for you to use when you try on gowns.

  • Q. Who should I bring to my appointment?

    A. Bring the closest friend or family member whose opinion you value and who knows you well and with whom you want to share the experience of buying your gown. Bringing more than 3 others can take the focus off of you.

  • Q. What size gowns are available for me to try on?

    A. Most of our samples are the traditional sample size, which is 8, 10 or 12. We also carry the largest selection of designer plus-size samples 14, 16 or 18.

  • Q. May I take pictures of the gowns while I try them on?

    A. We do not allow cameras in the fitting rooms while you are shopping. Once you have purchased a dress, you may take as many pictures as you'd like.

  • Q. When should I order my veil and/or headpiece?

    A. Headpiece and Veils we can check stock at the warehouse if they are out of stock then special-order designer veils have a 3-4 months lead-time, so making a decision at the time you order your gown is helpful. At your first fitting, you can order a custom veil, which we’ll make for you on premise.

  • Q. Can I complete my entire look in one appointment?

    A. Absolutely! Not only do many brides find their dress on their first visit to our salon, but they also find all their accessories (veils, headpieces, jewelry etc) on their first visit.

  • Q. Do you sell off the rack samples?

    A. We don't usually sell our samples but if in a case where your wedding date is very close and we can not order in time then we will sell the samples to you.

Buying

  • Q. How far in advance do I need to buy my gown?

    A. It's best to allow 6-9 months before your wedding to order a gown.

  • Q. When should I expect to receive my gown?

    A. Your gown typically arrives 8-10 weeks before your wedding date. The dress is delivered to us directly from the designer and we perform a thorough quality control check on each gown. Once we are satisfied the gown is perfect, we'll call you to schedule a first fitting.

  • Q. How do I pay for my gown?

    A. We accept MasterCard, and Visa, as well as cash, debit and personal checks. (Personal checks are only accepted for deposit, not final payment)

    A. All sales we require a 50% deposit of the total, and if you are doing alterations then another 25% of the total is taken, and when you pick up your gown the final 25% is to be paid then. Alterations are always extra and need to be paid in full before work is to be done.

  • Q. Can I get a swatch of the color of my gown?

    A. We will be happy to take a small sample from your actual dress when it arrives from the designer; as dye lots vary widely, this will give you the best color to use for matching.

  • Q. What are the price ranges for your gowns?

    A. Our special-order gowns start at $499 up to $4500. Off-the-rack samples can be much less, discounted up to 80% off.

  • Q. If I like a gown from one of the designer you carry but you don’t have the sample can I still order it?

    A. Yes we can order any gown designer we carry if you contact us we will find out for you.

  • Q. Do you price match?

    A. Yes talk to one of our consultant and we will let you know if we could match or even beat the price.

Fitting and Alterations

  • Q. When shall I schedule my first fitting?

    A. We'll contact you as soon as the dress arrives and ready for you to schedule a fitting; generally, 4-6 weeks before your wedding day would be good.

  • Q. What should I bring to my first fitting?

    A. You should bring the shoes and undergarments you'll wear on your wedding day in order to have your gown properly fit through the bodice and hemline.

  • Q.How many fittings will I need?

    A.Usually, brides require 2-3 fittings to ensure a perfect look. After the final fitting, we will press and pack your gown for you to take home or for shipping.

  • Q. If I wanted to add or change something on my dress is it possible?

    A. Yes tell us what you want then we will make it happen. Its best to talk to your consultant. Alteration fees apply.

  • Q. Will you ship my gown out of the country for me?

    A. Not a problem. We can ship a dress anywhere you’d like. Shipping fees apply.

  • Q. Do you have dresses for my mother or future mother-in-law?

    A. Yes, we have a large selection of special-order eveningwear. Click here to see our eveningwear collection.

  • Q. What is a trunk show?

    A. A trunk show is a special in-store event, lasting one to three days, where you can view and buy from a designer’s latest collection months before they hit the stores. The designer and or their representatives are usually at the store during a trunk show. If you find the dress of your dreams at a trunk show, be prepared to make a decision that day, as the gown will not be in the store once the trunk show is over. Usually discounts and promotions are available on those days.

  • Q. HELP! I’m getting married less than 4 months – is it too late to get a gown from you?

    A. No, it’s not too late, but every second counts! Your options include buying one of our samples off the rack or working with a consultant to determine which designers can meet your time frame for a "special order" gown, which could include an additional rush charge.

  • Q. What is a rush order?

    A. If your wedding date is sooner than the time we typically need to have a special-order gown made, we'll need to consult with the designer and place a "rush" order, for an additional fee. In this instance, your gown may arrive 1-3 weeks before your wedding.

  • Q. Do you make custom gowns?

    A.Yes we only custom make bridesmaid gowns with no beadwork only fabrics. Lead time is 1-2 weeks for rush and 3-4 weeks regular.Custom changes are available with some designers and also available with our in house designs.

  • Q. Do you design your own wedding gowns?

    A. Yes we have a full collection of our in house designs made with 100% silk, you may change things on the dress to make it your own custom dress, extra fee applies.

Measurements

  • Q. I normally wear a size 8 why am I ordering a size 10 or 12 bridal dress?

    A. Bridal and bridesmaid dresses tend to be 1-3 sizes bigger than your average daily clothing. We measure your bust waist and hips and use the companys size chart to determine the closest size possible. It is always better to take a bigger size so that we could always take it in.

  • Q. Are the dresses custom made to my measurements?

    A. No we use the companys size chart to determine your size, but special measurements are made to your measurements are available with an extra fee.
